There are many excellent books available 
to help with all aspects of photogenealogy.

At the moment though, there is not one book 
that can guide you through the whole photogenealogy process, 
but I am working on that issue...

Digital asset management

Securing and accessing your digital images is the first step of photogenealogy. I found these books helpful when I first started.

3 books called Dating by design, Tracing your ancestors through family photographs, and Dating old photographs

Photo dating & identification

There are so many useful books available that I shall tell you my favourite authors: Robert Pols, Jayne Shrimpton & Stephen Gill. All have authored several excellent books. Other authors to look out for include Avril Lansdell, Madeleine Ginsburg & John Peacock.

These books are really useful for helping you to date & identify your armed forces photos.

Graham Bandy presents Armed Forces Advice Hour for the Society of Genealogists.

Lost of help and advice in these books about how to organise your family history photos and to safely care for them.
